Web 2.0 Tools

This was fun :) now I have Google chrome set up, a blog,a twitter account that I actually can use and I actually understand what the @ and # mean - wow

Now to think about applications for the classroom......

Module 2

Blogging has lots of potential for the classroom.  Didn't realise that I had set up a blogging account last year and just left it in the too hard basket.  Maybe its time to dust it off and look at some of the applications for the classroom and sharing learning with parents, other students and educators.

Question - Copyright and privacy?  How do you share your learning and protect the privacy of students? How do you acknowledge the ideas and resources of others?

Well if you don't start then you never will!  Do you just dive it and worry about this afterwards? or do you wait for guidelines and policies that may never be written or which will never keep up with changing and evolving web 2.0 tools.

Module 1

I have just started this online Web 2.0 course.
Web 2.0 wow what an endless resource  that has so much potential for classroom application. Where to begin???  head is swimming with ideas for sharing learning and ideas with others in education.  Which tools to begin with??? where to next??? endless applications so many resources how am I going to remember all of this ... more user names, accounts and passwords Oh dear!!!!
